With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, I’ve had the privilege of helping many couples create their perfect wedding. Last year, I made the decision to start my own business. My initial goal was simple: to connect directly with couples and create a healthier work-life balance for myself and my family. But I wasn’t exactly sure what my unique focus would be or who my ideal clients were. I embraced a “learn by doing” approach and launched under my own name, trusting the process would guide me.

 

Earlier this year, I had a realisation that I think had been quietly growing all along. For years, I’ve been trying to live in closer harmony with nature: adopting a mostly plant-based lifestyle, choosing natural products, and embracing sustainable practices whenever possible. While I love bringing couples’ dreams to life, I’ve also become more aware of the waste and disconnection that often surround weddings. A simpler approach helps reduce the amount that couples feel they ‘have’ to do, creating space for what truly matters: love, connection, and joy. Not big budgets, trends or social media appearances. I realised that for my work to remain fulfilling and meaningful, my business needed to fully align with my values. So, this is more than a rebrand, it’s a refocus on helping couples create simple, intentional celebrations that reflect their authentic story and values.
