Calling all Authentic and Inclusive Wedding Suppliers! - A New Kind of Wedding Fair

I've been working hard with the lovely Gemma from The Wedding Index Dorset to plan an alternative wedding fair for Spring 2026, and we're super excited to share that we are now taking supplier applications!
We've been to too many wedding fairs. Both as suppliers, we stood awkwardly at tables waiting for the right couples to show interest. And as to-be-weds, we navigated huge, overwhelming spaces filled with a million photographers and tasting more cake than we could stomach. We often found ourselves stuck in awkward sales pitches, heading home with bags full of leaflets, business cards, and other useless things destined for the bin.
We decided we wanted to create a wedding event that we both know we need, and that other suppliers and couples need too!
Introducing the Dorset Wedding Sessions
Our two-day event in March 2026 will combine a styled shoot and an immersive wedding experience. It’s designed to inspire and empower modern couples who care about sustainability, authenticity, and community. We want to collaborate with suppliers who share our passion for meaningful celebrations.
Event Details
Friday 20th March - Styled Shoot at the incredible Blue Pool Nature Reserve.
Saturday 21st March - Unique Wedding Showcase where couples can see, touch, taste, and FEEL what their wedding could really be like. They will connect with authentic and inclusive suppliers in a calm and welcoming environment.
